The chief prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Luis Moreno Ocampo, will report to the Security Council today the UN on its progress in the investigation into alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Libya.
Ocampo in New York indicate what will be "the next steps in the research, including a possible application to the judges of an arrest warrant "against the prime suspects, according to a statement said today his office.
The Argentine prosecutor said in the memo that" the protection of civilians will only occur when they arrest the most responsible for major crimes. "
Gaddafi's sons, investigated
