God made the world in six literal days and rested the seventh day literally from all his work he had done, and was cooled. This has given man six days in which to work. But sanctify the day he rested, and gave it to man to be observed, that it retained free from all secular labor. To set apart and on Saturday, God gave the world a memorial. Never took a day and any day of the seven, but a specific day, the seventh day. And the Sabbath, we stated that we recognize God as the being, the Creator of heaven and earth.
There is nothing on the Sabbath it restricted to a particular class of people. Has been given to all mankind. Must be used, not indolence, but in contemplation of the works of God. This had to do men to "know that I am the LORD that sanctify them."
The Lord is close to his people on the day he has blessed and sanctified. "The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament showeth his handiwork. The one day utters speech the other day, and night unto night reveals knowledge." The Sabbath is a memorial of God that draws men to the Creator, who made the world and everything in it. In the everlasting hills, the majestic trees, all opening bud and every flower that blooms, we can see the work of the great Master Worker. Everything speaks of God and His glory.
loyal Every child of God will know the truth. Juan told the truth as clearly as a child could understand. "If ye love me, keep my commandments, and I will pray the Father, and will give you another Counselor to be with you forever-the Spirit of truth, whom the world can not receive, because it sees Him nor knows Him ". Do we choose to be classified among those who do not discern the truth, they are so blinded by the deceptive power of the enemy that their eyes do not see Him who is the express image of the person of the Father?
Christ's followers belong entirely to another class. "But you know him, because he is with you, and in you. Do not leave you orphans: I will come to you. Yet a little, and the world seeth me no more: but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also ". "He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he is the one who loves and who loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him." "Whoever loves me will keep my word and my Father will love him, and come to him and make our abode with him. He that loveth me not keepeth not my words: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but Father who sent me. " The word of a human being must be received and believed without question. First we must ask: Do they speak in harmony with the Word? Reject a simple "Thus says the Lord" because they see that this implies a cross?
