I am Luis Marileo Cariqueo, took 7 months in detention at Here, I have been a victim of the injustice of the Chilean government, who jailed me, when I was a teenager, I walked away from my family, my studies, created a vast assembly to snatch my freedom, accusing me of terrorism, following a long process where they deny me the precautionary measures. Above all what we have suffered through long years of persecution and torture, as family and community, I can say to all national and international public opinion, I Mapuche political prisoner as a child, just belong to my people, my fight is for our freedom, our country, I am not part of any organization, my thought is the product of the values \u200b\u200band principles passed down from our grandparents, for thinking of me people, in nature, in our territory, I do not think being a danger to society, I think I'm a kid like all of us who live in community with his family, struggling every day for a better future.
Only I can tell you that despite having us locked up, away from our lives, our thoughts will not change, we will continue growing stronger every day, to keep fighting for the freedom of our people and territory, which until now has been destroyed every day by large companies, supported by the Chilean government to destroy what is necessary, in order to get more money.
